The Economics and Applications of Variable Refrigerant Flow Systems

The presentation will provide a review of various VRF applications and economic impact including first cost and operating cost.  Several case studies will be presented and discussed.

 

Dinner Speaker: Matthew  Berry

Matthew Berry is the Commercial Area Manager for Mitsubishi Electric Cooling & Heating, HVAC.  He previously held positions as Account Executive with Johnson Controls and Project Engineer with York International.  Matthew received his B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Massachusetts Dartmouth.

Selecting and Specifying VRF Systems

The working fundamentals of VRF systems including control of refrigerant in cooling, heating and simultaneous heating and cooling applications will be discussed.  The presentation will also cover selection and specification of VRF components and controls.

 

Tech Session Speaker:  Brandon Bradley

Brandon Bradley is a Mitsubishi Senior Product Specialist with Homan's Associates. He has extensive VRF experience and is a LEED AP.  Brandon is a current CT ASHRAE Board of Governors member and is the Chairman of the Golf Outing Committee.
