Mobile BACnet
The Tech session reviews the current state of accessing, monitoring and controlling building data using mobile devices. The presentaion will include a primer on BACnet as a language, including I/O types, control logic, and information extraction. There is also a review of the fundamentals of mobile computing- protocols, web technology standards. Finally, the discussion focuses on applications currently available for web access of building data and control capabilities and energy dashboards.
Tech Session Speaker- Paul Jordan, P.E., American Auto-Matrix
Paul Jordan is the chief technology officer for American Auto-Matrix. He has also been BACnet International Board of Director for an number of years. Befor American Auto-Matrix he was the Vice President of e Invensys and he invented the keyless drill chuck that is used in many drills today.
